As a Meteorologist forecasting weather, working in Environmental assessment of atmospheric pollutant dispersion or as an educator teaching Environmental Science, I've always found that a picture is worth a thousand words of explanation and understanding. Visualizing data leads to deeper understanding of the world we live in. Whether you need to know more about business practices, demographics, environmental impacts or increasing efficiency of processes, understanding location brings another dimension to your knowledge.

I have a master's degree in Geoscience, a bachelor's degree in Communications and have earned commendations for meteorological graphics I've produced for broadcast. Currently, I'm spending my evenings and weekends pursuing a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems and Technology at North Carolina State University.
